Sunset Drag

Sunset Drag

As the title suggest this shot has one of the longest sea drags I’ve photographed, it must have been a 100m or so. The sand bank was so shallow that a couple of inches of sea went so far out.

I used my Singh Ray reverse grad filter on this one to calm the brightness of the horizon down and leave the foreground and sky as natural as possible, saying that it has a pastel feel to it giving a nice warmth.

For once it was just an ankle wetting instead of my usual knee and thigh, made a pleasant change.

Results day for my MRI scan later, just hope they found whats causing the pain,  unless someones got a doll with my name on it putting pins in it..lol better off putting them in my back, may help!

Just finished answering emails and now it’s back to the book writing, only started and managed the first intro page, this has been my sticking point for so long, not saying it’s perfect as I’ll probably change it several times but at least it’s a start and gives me something to build on now. Meeting next week to sort out locations  for “best of UK ” shots.

all my best
